As a Math’s Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping students’ mathematical abilities, fostering their self-confidence, and preparing them for success in their educational journey.

Job Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities will include:

· Developing comprehensive lesson plans and delivering engaging math lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

· Cultivating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, participate actively, and collaborate with their peers.

· Implementing innovative teaching strategies and leveraging instructional technology to enhance students’ mathematical learning experiences.

· Assessing students’ progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback, and offering individualized support as needed.

· Collaborating with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary connections and integrate mathematical concepts into other subjects.

· Mentoring and guiding students in problem-solving, critical thinking, and logical reasoning to foster their mathematical skills and intellectual growth.

· Maintaining open lines of communication with parents/guardians, conducting parent-teacher conferences, and utilizing various communication channels to provide updates on students’ progress.

Requirements:

· At least bachelor’s degree in mathematics. A master’s degree is preferred.

· Proven experience teaching mathematics at the middle school level, showcasing a deep understanding of the subject matter and effective instructional practices.

· Sound knowledge of the middle school mathematics curriculum, state standards, and instructional frameworks.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.

· Enthusiasm for mathematics and a strong commitment to igniting students’ curiosity and love for the subject.

· Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports students’ academic and socio-emotional growth.
